The graphics on the steam version are for some reason much better than the one in the oculus store. I played this on oculus rift and it definitely feels like theres no support. I'd love to see some updates, especially since all the narrations aren't there yet.. Great space game which can be slightly scary. Especially when you're flying into the storms of Jupiter. You can actually watch the storms on planets and land on them.. Visuals+Immersion+Enough content to justify the price-UI. The space ship interior, the instruments, the flight route and the voices etc. were superb.But that did not help.Everything looked too tiny and the textures were not good enough.The transition into and out of mars atmosphere was graphically like in a 90s flight simulator. The solid ceiling was visible through the clouds.. awesome the best vr experience yet my dk2 looks so good on this the £100 i payed for it was worth it just for this even without hotas support its the best space vr experience in the sol system a vr must have. Discovering Space 2 is awesome, literally so. It is visually gorgeous, informative, and really thoughtfully implemented. When I was a kid I imagined touring the solar system, and this fulfills that dream. As another reviewer said, this game obviously is a labor of love. Well worth the investment in my view.. Superior quality based on real materials. Absolutely the best VR for astronomy.. Very relaxing... space tours are well crafted and educational.. First purchased this back in the DK2 days. It has improved massively. Great attention to detail like dust particles and condensation in cockpit. Sunlight bouncing off cockpit glass. Space tours are a great addition. Control scheme is now VR controller and very well thought out. Very nice flying low over planets with atmosphere (given how Elite is lacking this feature).Relaxing and atmospheric space flight sim.
